Japan is a unique retail destination, featuring some of the most innovative retail concepts and offering some of world’s best customer services and experiences. The optional WDSF Store Tour in Tokyo will take delegates to some of the most vibrant shopping areas of the megacity.
Store Tour in Tokyo
The Greater Tokyo Area is the most populous metropolitan area in the world where 39 million residents live in an assembly of several cities, each centred around a train station that is surrounded by a dynamic shopping district. The Store Tour will focus on discovering department stores and recent stores concepts in selected districts.
Organization of the Tokyo’s Store Tour: Friday, 7 June 2019
1.30pm: Departure by coaches (8-10 passengers) from Ritz-Carlton hotel
6.30pm: Drop off at Ginza Six
6.30pm - onwards: Farewell Cocktail at The Grand Ginza of Ginza Six (Invitation to all WDSF delegates)
7.15pm: Farewell speech
9.00pm: End of programme
The cost contribution for the Store Tour in Tokyo is €350 per person, and includes the tour organization, tour guides, coffee breaks and transport costs.*
